SPORTFIVE Renews and Expands Global Media Rights Partnership for Liga Portugal Betclic with Sport TV

Hamburg, April 1 2026 – SPORTFIVE has agreed a renewal and expansion of its long standing partnership with Sport TV, extending its role as international media rights partner for the Portuguese Football League, Liga Portugal Betclic for a further two seasons.

Under the new agreement, SPORTFIVE will represent the league’s international media rights for the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons, covering global markets outside Portugal, with only limited territorial exceptions.

The renewal builds on a successful existing collaboration between SPORTFIVE and Sport TV, which previously covered the 2023/24 to 2025/26 seasons across a broad selection of international territories. The new agreement marks a significant evolution in the relationship, expanding SPORTFIVE’s remit to a truly global distribution role.
